Bubbles 03:35
In every city and every town it bubbles up from underground, hungry like some rabid beast engaging us to join the feast. Viscous Sticky slick and lean broken mirrors and duct tape dreams, watch it grow from broken bits and hopeful words from broken lips. There's a bloody stain upon the throne, no alibi and the fiend has flown. A zeitgiest and the end is nigh, buildings fall and blackbirds cry. To the edge on which we dwell, hold on tight and leap to hell, where every is child born to tell the number on the wishing well. A hand is dealt to all and one, a blood red sky a setting sun. When crops have fallen to the plow, we'll starve to feed the sacred cow. Edging close to this abyss, come dance the dance and share the kiss. To your lips I'll place this need, just hold me down and do the deed. All image mixing muddled mash, a scorching fury turned to ash, devils grin and angels frown, while pipers play familar sounds. From senseless parts of shattered things, from broken people thought machines. Like a butterfly in ancient lands, A heady wind still blows the sands. So, take this pill and fall asleep some secret chief your soul to keep. In this troubled time of woe a common theme begins to grow. Some common theme, some common ache, someone with a heart to break. Growing like some dirty weed, a flower blooms and goes to seed. Mix it up into a pot, some black and gorgeous master plot. Boil the pot and breathe the steam, then steel wool and scrub it clean. Our power lies in what we've learned, the knowledge that we each have earned, with bits of trash and agile minds, we'll break the backs of space and time. Leather bites and splinters dig, the olive branch is but a twig. This terror we are moving twoards, we have no peace but many swords. Still we're growing from the edge, like a virus like a pledge. Hold the light of truth up high, and tear the mask from every lie.

All the little pieces that you used to throw away, I've gathered them and one by one I've saved them for another day. All the little bits of grime, that never seemed to keep the time, that cracked and brittle watching face, somehow it never found a place. Oh the spines of broken books, filled to the brim with wily crooks and princely woe begotten orphaned zombie pirate kings. ä dolly there is trapped beneath, what wiggles in her yellow hair? Some creepy crawling, fruitless flying, hungry little thing. Licking stamps and Asian pigs, a camera never used. a giant glowing grasshopper, a burned out three phase fuse. An open door into the room, where cricket spiders call the tune, lean it up so it won't fall, or nail it to the goddamn wall. Tuck and tuck and tuck and tuck we'll tuck it all away, I'm saving all these pieces for another day, another day.

Ach meine Liebste. Guten Morgen. Während du da schliefst, Hielt ich ihre Dämonen weg. Ach meine Liebste. Bitte verläss mich nicht jetzt. An diesem Augenblick hältst du meine Dämonen weg. Good morning, my love. While you were sleeping, I kept you demons away. Oh my darling, please don't leave me. For in this moment, you're keeping my demons away.

I thought I heard the phone. I thought I heard it ring. I think someone's on the other side, breaking everything. I poured myself a glass. Then, I dropped it on the floor. I thought I heard a "tap, tap, tap" a rapping on my door. Decided not to answer then I picked up my guitar. Right then I heard the car alarm start screaming from my car. Three men dressed in black burst in and made me break a string. So, I leapt onto my feet and started breaking everything. Threw the TV out the window, put my boot through the wall, put a hole in the wastub and I made the bookcase fall. I wriggled metal pieces and I overstretched the spring, I did not change the oil, so I'm breaking everything. Listen to me dance, try to hear my swing. Listen to the sound of breaking everything.

Ants For Now 08:52
Take careful steps in the open night. Don't be fooled by cold street lights. Opening arms to grasp the flame. A stranger's touch, a touch of strange. For now we march to the open night, Dancing still 'til morning light. Clutching dreams long since past. In our embrace is long since past. In our embrace this spell was cast.

Don't go down to the woods tonight who knows what you will find. Something might be stalking you and crawl right up behind. You might feel a cold cold breath on your pretty neck. You'll say that you ain't scared, you'll turn around to check. Your eyes go wide, your knees go weak, you won't know what to do. Don't go down the woods tonight I wouldn't if I were you. Don't go down the woods tonight, there's something lurking there. Bobby Sue has seen it and it straightend out hair. She don't talk at all right now she just stares into space. The thing that is most frightening is that grin upon on her face. Don't go down to the woods tonight, who knows what you will find. It Might not want your body but it's sure to take your mind. I went down to the woods last night, I'll tell you what I saw. Somthin white with beastly eyes, and razors on its claws. What it whispered in my ear, I cannot reveal. I know you don't believe me, I swear that it was real. This puondin' in my head is tearin' out my mind. Come down to the woods with me, we'll see what we can find...

Itsy 00:49
The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout. Down came the rain and washed the spider out. Out came the sun, and dried up all the water. The itsy bitsy spider climed up the spout again.

And now there is a wall, before my eyes. And now there is a gun, at my back. But I can see the Sun. I can feel its light shine down on me. I can see the sun. Something is hiding. There's something hiding here. What it is is not precisely clear. Do you remember, what I wispered in your ear. I feel like breaking everything. And I can feel the strength, in my hands and I still feel strong, in my mind. I can see the sun. I can feel its light shine down on me. I can see the sun.

Rust 06:01
The future seems to follow us into the distant past. We try to hide from instances that plague us to the last. Gag the sirens thouroughly, but tie me to the mast. Let creeping chaos break the bonds, although they are tied fast. Sitting silent on the porch the doorstep of a heart, the entrance to a warm safe place, where something new can start put the pieces back again climb on the apple cart. Pick up sticks and lock a key then watch it fall apart. Whipped and dragged through streets of glass and scenes of ancient lust. The cities slowly reach the sky, then quickly start to rust. recaptured glories shine again through centuries of dust. We rail against all certainty, the fates to which we're thrust. And here we come around again, again again again. Never that much different, but never quite the same. I stand in stoic fury hold my hand against the flame, and dream a tiny action may commit some epic change.

Row 05:32
Row, Row, Row your boat, gently down the stream. Merrily merrily merrily merrily. Life is but a dream.

about

Jason LeFarge at Seizures Palace in Brooklyn, where much of this Album was recorded and mixed, was in the Atlanta band "Pineal Ventana". They played with Hellblinki at our first show, which was also the opening night of The Hangnail Gallery! Seizures Palace shares space with Martin Bisi's BC Studio, a pretty nifty spot with quite a history...
